When?

Every Monday, from 7:45-9:15.  Please note that, because of the guidelines around the Coronavirus situation, we need to make sure we don't have too many people in the venue, so please confirm that you are planning to come along, either via the WhatsApp group, or via email.  We have a waiting list for new members - if you'd like to be added to the list, please email us. Note that we are not a beginner group, nor a class, but do get in touch for recommendations if this is what you want.

Where?

The Elephant House, 1  Dean Street, Bedminster, Bristol, BS3 1BG (in a private room - no audience!).  We've changed our meeting place, to enable us to maintain social distancing.

How much?

£3 per session, if you can afford it. This is just to cover the cost of the room.

 

What do we play? 

Each session, we play the songs suggested in advance by the group. This is just to give people the chance to have a go at the songs before the session, but there's no expectation that you'll have practised these beforehand.  The song sheets are displayed with a projector, so there's no need to print them.

You'll see that we tend to avoid tricky or obscure chords: this list pretty much covers the repertoire - C, C7, F, G, G7, D, D7, B flat, A, Am, A7, Em, E7. But if you can't play all of these, don't be put off!
